Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, announced new savings on Sunday evening. A reduction of 750 million euros in State purchases, a reduction in State office space, reduction in travel of public officials.

“We want to build an exemplary, sober State,” said Thomas Cazenave, the Minister of Public Accounts on France 2. To achieve 10 billion savings, the ministries will "tighten their belts" with in particular -25% of office space and -700 M in expenses of personnel.
