Orange is reaping the benefits of its strategic plan. The French giant benefits from its strategy of rising prices in Europe and growth in Africa/Middle East to increase its profitability.

In France, Orange's largest market, revenues still fell by 1.4% over the whole year, with a big drop in services to operators. Orange is obviously counting on the merger with MasMovil to consolidate its position as second operator on site. Brussels must give its decision on this project on February 21, which should in all likelihood be approved.
