Paris Stock Exchange: the flagship CAC 40 index exceeds 8,000 points, a first in its history. Since October, investors have continued to boost the Parisian index.
The market was encouraged by the European Central Bank (ECB) which lowered its forecast for inflation in the euro zone in 2025, to the level of its target of 2%, presaging a relaxation of its policy in the coming months.
