On average, large CAC 40 companies have achieved parity in their governance bodies. They now have 44% women on their board of directors or supervisory board.

Most of them respect the 40% quota imposed on French groups by the Copé-Zimmermann law adopted in 2011. Some even happily exceed it, sometimes with more than 50% of directors, as our ranking attests. But these groups are often companies which are not subject to French law because they have established their headquarters in the Netherlands.
