The European Toy Industries Federation purchased and tested 19 products at random from the Chinese marketplace Temu. Results: none complied with European Union (EU) regulations.

Choking, cuts, strangulations, perforations, chemical dangers... Of the 19 toys purchased on the Temu platform and entrusted by the Toy Industries of Europe (TIE) to an independent laboratory for testing, 18 presented a real risk to children's safety. “It sends shivers down your spine,” breathes Florent Leroux, president of the French Federation of Toy Industries.
