Senators want to limit the right to strike in public transport. This Wednesday, a bill which prohibits walkouts thirty days a year will be examined in committee in the Senate.

Since 1947, there has not been a year without a day of strike at the SNCF. The big departure days, Christmas, Easter, July 14, August 15, etc. would be affected. And this during peak hours, for example between 7 a.m. and 9 a.M. and 5 p.m and 8 p. m.
