Winner of the American lottery "Powerball" won a prize of 1.3 billion dollars tonight. This is the fourth largest jackpot in the history of the Powerball lotteries in the country.
The lucky winner will be able to choose whether to receive the full amount in long annual payments range or take home a one-time sum of about 609 million dollars. The largest prize ever awarded was $2.04 billion, won in November 2022 by a tip bought in California, at a liquor store.
