A recent study conducted by the professional social network LinkedIn reveals. “Men are much more likely to hold remote or hybrid jobs” than women, the study explains.

Two thirds (66%) of professionals occupying a position of responsibility in France are men. However, the professionals dominating the organization chart are also those who have easier access to teleworking, says the author of the study. “Some imagine that if they telework, they will take care of the children at the same time”, confides Christine Courade, HR director at Toulouse-Blagnac airport. “I met several CEOs refusing teleworking to women, under the pretext that they would take the opportunity to take care. of household chores and children, or even do their nails,” also assures an HR consultant on condition of anonymity.   “The typical profile of a teleworker is in fact ateleworker, aged between 30 and 39, who works in the private sector as a manager or engineer”
