The IMF completely changed its forecast for the growth of the Argentine economy for 2024. In October it estimated that there would be a 2.8% improvement this year, compared to a drop of the same level in 2023.

Now, it estimates another year of recession. However, the organization predicts a strong rebound for next year, when it projects 5% growth. The Fund released this Tuesday the latest update of its Global Economic Outlook report – known as WEO for its acronym in English – from South Africa.
