The day after tomorrow the elections for the local authorities will be held. The educational frameworks will not work and the majority of the public will enjoy the day off accompanying the elections.
There are workers who are not entitled to Shabbat at all, and there are those who, even if they work that day, will have to make do with normal wages. The law states that election day will be a sabbath only for employees who work in an authority in which elections are held or who are registered in the voter register.
