The family empire, present in 21 countries in Africa, is accelerating its strategy of vertical integration towards upstream agriculture. It will build two distilleries by 2026.

Gregory Clerc is certain: the group, created in 1949 by Pierre Castel and his siblings, still has vast playing fields ahead of it. The Castel group also generates 15% of its turnover in the wine in Europe, its continent of origin, where it is the leader with more than 400 million bottles produced and sold per year.
