Catalonia and the Basque Country put entrepreneurs who are retiring in contact with others who want to start a business. In the Community of Madrid there are still no programs like Reempresa or NegoziOn.

Since 2011, 4,480 SMEs have survived in Catalonia and avoided the loss of 12,500 jobs. After three years, more than 75% of the transferred companies are still open, while only 25% of newly created companies survive. The average amount of companies purchased in Catalonia is between 50,000 and 60,000 euros.
