Technology remains active, and areas such as mining, oil and health emerge. Although there are many sectors slowed down and the recession will extend over the coming months, specialists detected some areas in which there could be labor demand during 2024.

“Once the macro variables that are currently uncertain are minimally adjusted, these sectors will boost labor demand, especially towards the second half of the year,” says Andrea Ávila, CEO of the Human Resources consulting firm Randstad for Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
