The "Albert Schweitzer Foundation for Our Environment" has examined chicken meat at Lidl. The result: Numerous samples are contaminated with germs.

Multidrug-resistant germs were detected in 71 percent of the samples – especially the faecal germ Escherichia coli. According to the foundation, this could trigger diseases such as urinary tract or gastrointestinal infections. In addition, these pathogens have also been discovered: Enterococci, Campylobacter and Salmonella.
