A Palestinian opened fire today from close range against Israeli soldiers manning a checkpoint in Deir Sharf (near Nablus) Two other Palestinians who were in a nearby vehicle were injured in the incident. One of the bullets lodged in the helmet of an Israeli soldier, who however remained unharmed.
