Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt attended the premiere of the musical The Outsiders on Broadway. The actress was full of praise for her daughter, 15 years old.
“Viv reminds me of my mother in the sense that she doesn't focus on being the center of attention but seeks to be a support to other creatives,” she said in a press release last August. The pair have been collaborating for several months on the musical, which was produced by Jolie's ex-husband Brad Pitt and directed by Justine Levine, the composer of the soundtrack for the show. The show opened on Broadway on April 11 and closed on April 14. The movie version of the show is set to open on May 1. The musical is currently on tour in the U.S. and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 1, 2015.
