“Through the Seasons”: Catherine Deneuve in an American film produced by Martin Scorsese. In this independent comedy-drama, in theaters this Wednesday, the actress nicely plays a French grandmother who is going to have to help her granddaughter with her poultry farm.
The film, by German-American duo Hanna Ladoul and Marco La Via, takes place in the present day on the east coast of the United States, and tells the story of the return home of a young woman, Charlie.
