Idan Morad's mother, Anat, posted on her Facebook account calling for an end to the violent discourse. "There is nothing harder to see than this as a mother, I wish this thing would end", she wrote.
"Idan was a pretty full kid in his youth, which always made him the object of ridicule and bullying also because he was chubby, beautiful and gifted," she added. At the end of her speech, Anat wrote: "If Idan had to cry in front of the entire nation of Israel and shatter my heart for this thing to end, then maybe something good would come of it"
