'The humanitarian ship from Cyprus is approaching Gaza' - Breaking news. According to MarineTraffic data, the Open Arms ship which left Cyprus on Tuesday with 200 tons of food on board bound for Gaza is less than 10 kilometers from the coast.
Some Palestinian witnesses told CNN that they had seen the white merchant vessel approaching from the northern part of the Strip. The US broadcaster reports that the ship is heading for Gaza from the island of Lesvos in the north of the island. The ship is expected to arrive in Gaza in the next few days.
