The information made public by the dioceses and North American newspapers brings to light unknown cases in Spain. Many of them of clerics who later returned to their places of origin.
Six other American and foreign priests, also denounced for pedophilia, passed through our country. EL PAÍS launched in 2018 an investigation of pedophilia in the Spanish Church and has an updated database with all known cases.
