30 years old and still fans of their Tamagotchi: “It follows me everywhere, I take photos of it when I go out”. Back on the toy market, children's favorite virtual pet from the 1990s is especially appealing to adults.
Almost all of them are children of the 90s who experienced the “Tamagotchis madness”, a time when playgrounds, and sometimes classrooms, buzzed with shrill beeps. The average age within the group of 650 French enthusiasts is 30 years old.
