The heroine of the attack at the Savoy Hotel, Kochava Levy, who died last year without recognition of her heroism, will be commemorated in the national memory. The Neot Hovav Council will inaugurate a street in her name tomorrow.

In March 1975, a squad of eight terrorists infiltrated a hotel in Tel Aviv and held hostages. Three IDF soldiers and 3 hostages were killed in the attack. Kochava was staying at the hotel and was caught up in the incident. She volunteered to mediate between the kidnappers and the Israeli security forces and translate their words from Hebrew to Arabic.
