A concert in Warsaw heckled by environmental activists, the leader rebels. Two environmental activists took to the stage of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw during the concert celebrating the 80th birthday and 60th career of Polish conductor Antoni Wit.
The maestro tore down their protest banner. The Polish collective Last Generation is, unfortunately, not its first attempt. They have already disrupted a musical performance at the Opéra Bastille in Paris in 2022 and another at La Scala in Milan. And in July 2023, it was the German Letzte Generation movement which tried to prevent a play from being held during the Salzburg festival.
