Removing or destroying the nests is strictly prohibited - and can be quite expensive. According to the Federal Nature Conservation Act, all European bird species are specially protected. This also applies to city pigeons. Destroying their nests and clutches and disturbing the parent birds while they are breeding is therefore prohibited.
