Anaïs Quemener stopped her sporting career at the age of 24, when she was diagnosed with severe cancer. This Sunday, September 24, 2023, for the Berlin marathon (Germany), she also hung a red ribbon in her hair, matching her sneakers.

The young woman completed the 42.195 km in 2 h 29′ 1′’: a new personal best. Her time remains beyond the Olympic minimums, set at 2:26:50 – Anaïs will not go to the Games in Paris – but she is the first French woman to arrive.
