A nun dies after being hit on a traffic jam in the center of Rome. The accident occurred in Largo Brancaccio, in the Merulana area, around 4pm.
The driver of the car was a 35-year-old Filipino who stopped to help and tested negative for blood alcohol tests carried out on the spot. From initial investigations it seems that the nun was crossing on a pedestrian crossing when she was hit. The findings were carried out by the I Trevi Group of the local police which is carrying out investigations.
