The Italian city of Patrica, located in the center of Italy, offers historic houses for sale at a cost of only one euro. The ridiculous price of the houses is part of a plan to reduce new life in the old city that was established in the Middle Ages.
Out of the 40 residences that are offered for 1 euro, only two have managed to be sold so far. According to Italian law, the sale requires approval from the owners of the properties, many of whom left their homes at the beginning of the 19th century.
