The precautionary custody order was issued by the Aosta investigating judge. According to the weekly Gazzetta Matin, the man abused the girl several times, taking advantage of the complicity of his partner. The story was apparently brought to light by the victim's younger brother telling his father, who then turned to the police. The woman was arrested while she was at work.
