Abused athlete: the two fencers under investigation do not compete. Lapo Jacopo Pucci and Emanuele Nardella, the young sabers who ended up in a rape complaint by an athlete of the Uzbek national youth team, were enrolled in the U20 saber tournament scheduled in Lucca.
Pucci was expected today, for the national youth Open test, and he didn't show up. Nardello has to compete tomorrow (National Open) but from what transpires he also won't showup for the race.
