Caroline Rey-Salmon is vice-president of the Independent Commission on Incest and Sexual Violence Against Minors. The commission announced in a press release the “total withdrawal of work all the time of the investigation” targeting the forensic pathologist.
“This is not a resignation,” the 65-year-old pediatrician, legal expert, had clarified earlier in a message sent on WhatsApp to the members of the commission. She has not since made any further comments.
