The Klingel Group from Baden-Württemberg is filing for insolvency in self-administration. The mail-order company cites customers' reluctance to consume since the start of the war in Ukraine, as well as significantly increased costs for catalog production and shipping.
The company cites increased digitization and a greater focus on online retail as reasons for the restructuring of the company. Other companies of the Klingel group also employ more than 250 people, but they are not affected.
