AI improves lung cancer diagnosis - Medicine. Artificial intelligence software to make early diagnosis of lung cancer more effective and efficient.
It is called 'Deep Lung' and is a program based on deep learning algorithms developed by the Catalan foundation Eurecat. The software will be tested in Bologna and at the University Clinic of Barcelona starting from June. The objective, at the end of the experimentation, is to establish an innovative and free service, available to all public healthcare facilities in Emilia-Romagna.
