Aldi Süd wants to expand its vegan range to 1000 products by the end of 2024. Aldi already has around 950 vegan products, which range from meat substitutes to plant-based cosmetics.
More healthier private labels are also planned at Aldi, including a cooperation with Naturland. The company has even received an award as the most vegan-friendly discounter from the Albert Schweitzer Foundation for our fellow world because of its large assortment of plant-friendly products. But the focus on vegan products is not always exclusively positive, as there was an advertising dispute between Aldi and Nord.
