[HIGHLIGHTS] All in dignity and sobriety, Elisabeth Badinter, surrounded by her three children at her husband's funeral

Former Minister of Justice Robert Badinter died on February 9 at the age of 95. His wife, Elisabeth Badinter, was surrounded by her three children.

The ceremony was chaired by the head of government Éric Dupond-Dupond. The burial was held in Place Vendôme, in front of the Ministry of Justice. For this last farewell, the relatives first paraded behind the coffin to the sound of Beethoven's 7th symphony, followed by a eulogy delivered by the President of the Republic.
