Antitrust sanctions Bat and Amazon for misleading advertising. The Antitrust has fined British American Tobacco Italia 6 million euros and Amazon EU 1 million euros.
The companies, the Authority explains in a note, have advertised the devices "denying, omitting or not highlighting the information relating to tobacco/nicotine consumption connected to the use of such devices and the ban on sale to minors" The companies are accused of misleading advertising of the Glo Hyper X2 and GloHyper Air heated tobacco devices.
