Antivirus programs at Stiftung Warentest: Good protection doesn’t have to be expensive. The consumer magazine took a close look at 28 antivirus programs and found, among other things, that even free versions can offer good protection.
However, first place – and the only “Very Good” rating – was secured by a paid program. No rating for Kaspersky products due to security concerns. The Federal Office for Information Security has been warning about the Russian manufacturer's products since March 2022.
