Max Verstappen with Red Bull took pole position in the Saudi Arabian GP. The world champion set a time of 1'27''472, a new circuit record.

Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari will start alongside him on the front row. Sergio Perez (Red Bull) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) in second row. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in third. Oliver Bearman, who replaces Carlos Sainz who had suffered from appendicitis, will start eleventh.
