Brazil won the Golden Lion for the best national participation at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale. The proclamation took place this morning, during the awards ceremony of the 2023 edition of the lagoon exhibition, entitled 'The Laboratory of the Future' The Brazilian pavilion, curated by Gabriela De Matos and Paulo Tavares, focuses on the role of the past in understanding the future, with the common thread being the earth.

The jury of the exhibition, chaired by Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli, awarded the best participation to the architecture studio 'Daar', thanks to the project "Dangerous Liaisons section"
