The work of the 'Italy-Africa, a bridge for common growth' summit begins at Palazzo Madama. The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, arrived around 9am, welcomed by President Ignazio La Russa, at the Senate.

The family photo and the plenary session will follow, with the opening speeches of the Prime Minister herself and of the Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. This will be followed by five thematic sessions, focused on cooperation in the economic and infrastructural fields.
