[HIGHLIGHTS] Austrian comedian Peter Simonischek has died at the age of 76

Peter Simonischek played the cumbersome patriarch in Toni Erdmann. The Austrian actor died in the night from Monday to Tuesday at the age of 76.

He will no longer wear the famous dentures that made the whole world laugh in Cannes. He toured extensively in France, at the Théâtre de la Ville, in Paris, and elsewhere. He was part of the prestigious Schaubühne company in Berlin in the 1980s. He plays under the direction of the greatest directors: Peter Stein, Klaus Michael Grüber, Bob Wilson.
