Marino is a professor of surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is the former mayor of Rome and a member of the technical-scientific committee of Green Europe. The decision, which has been in the air for days, will be made official on Thursday, in a press conference of the Alleanza Verdi Sinistra Avs at Palazzo Grazioli.
