"The existence of attempted scams carried out through the use of documents, email addresses or web pages that unduly contain the Bank of Italy and the Financial Intelligence Unit (Uif) has been detected", says the bank. "By way of example, requests for commissions for anti-money laundering purposes, tax charges or expenses to allow the crediting of sums of money", explains the note.
