Deutsche Bahn and the EVG trade union have agreed on a settlement. However, a strike in the coming week cannot be ruled out.
The railway must now reorganize the planned emergency operation back to normal operation. According to a survey, one in four people in Germany has "no understanding at all" for the strike. The strike is expected to last from 22:00 p.m. to 24:00p.m on Tuesday evening. Almost every train is likely to be cancelled in regional services.
