A special visit since Buckingham Palace had just announced that the latter was suffering from a form of cancer. Although father and son had not seen each other for 9 months, everyone was surprised that their reunion lasted barely more than half an hour. However, a source close to the palace told People magazine that this visit, as short as it was, was part of the reconciliation process of the two men.
