Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) can be behind cycle problems. Some women hardly feel ovulation, others experience enormous pain.

Depending on the phase of the cycle, different symptoms can occur. These include digestive problems*, headaches and mood swings. If the physical and emotional symptoms are very severe, doctors speak of PMS. It is not known how many women are affected. But according to estimates, at least every second woman has psychological or physical symptoms in the second half of her cycle.
