Brian Jones, the great peacock of British pop, was expelled by his friends from the band in 1969. Jones was simply the victim of a sordid power struggle within the Stones, won by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger.

The only album with his name on the cover is Brian Jones Presents the Pipes of Pan at Joujouka. The soundtrack he made for Volker Schlöndorff's second feature film, starring his beloved Anita, has never been legally published.
