Cannabis can be grown legally in Germany from April 1, 2024. Up to three plants are allowed per adult.

The plants need equal amounts of light and darkness, ideally twelve hours per day. Fertilizer is important for growth, and phosphorus must also be present for pronounced flower and root formation. If you're new to cannabis, you should "just try it out on the plant - that certainly can't do any harm" and wait until the equinox to harvest it.. Growing cannabis is now legal. Cuttings and seeds are easy to purchase. But there could be problems when caring for marijuana plants. You can't just walk into your local florist or hardware store and buy cannabis plants or seeds for growing marijuana at home. In the future, distribution will also take place via so-called cultivation associations. The hemp expert Tim Spieker from Ibbenbüren has been dealing with this question for a long time; he ultimately wants to supply legal hemp from Münsterland.
