The Best Actor Award at the 76th Cannes Film Festival was won by Koji Yakusho for the film Perfect Days by Wim Wenders. The Jury Prize at the76th Cannesfilm Festival was winning by Les feuilles mortes by Aki Kaurismaki. The Palme d'Or would be played between two works both powerful, The Zone of Interest by the English Jonathan Glazer and Anatomie d'une Chute by French Justine Triet.
