"Anatomy of a Fall" by Justine Triet won the supreme award of the Cannes Film Festival. "Monster" by Hirokazu Kore-eda won the Best Screenplay Award.
"Les Feuilles mortes" by Aki Kaurismaki won the Jury Prize. The Best Actress Award was awarded to the Turkish Merve Dizdar, 36, the female lead in Nuri Bilge Ceylon's "Dry Grass", a dark and tortuous drama of 3:17.
