The selection for the 77th edition of the International Film Festival was made official this Thursday, April 10 in the morning. It promises to see the Croisette welcome Francis Ford Coppola, George Lucas, Kevin Costner, Catherine Deneuve, Emma Stone, Demi Moore… among others, from May 14 to 25.
The Cannes Film Festival will award a Palme d'Honneur to George Lucas during its closing night on May 25. George Miller, also 79 years old, will present his fifth “Mad Max” out of competition. The American Paul Schrader brought together Richard Gere and Gerema Thurman for “Oh, Canada”. Nicolas Cage and Nicolas Fosthos will come together for the new film by Greek director Yórán Lógos “Kind of Kind of Kind’s” The festival will take place in Cannes between May 14 and 25, 2024. It will be the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Palais des Festivals.
